Director Of Special Projects
Polaris, our North West operating group, is currently seeking a Director of Special Projects who will lead key strategic business initiatives for the group. In this role, you will be joining the senior leadership team to lead growth strategy for a $1.5B business and operations for a portfolio of 400 dialysis clinics, 50 home programs, and 100 hospital programs. This role will report to the Group Vice President. As a thought partner to our senior team, you will be a strategic leader for field operators as this position is responsible for driving strategic and operational initiatives. Representative projects include development of the 3-year strategic plan, decision making around capital deployment, identification of new market opportunities, and development of new models of collaboration in existing markets. The Director will join a team of highly motivated individuals and, at this level in our organization, will have visibility and interaction at least quarterly with our C-suite.
Essential Duties
Strategic Process
Play a key role in the development of operating group's 3-year strategy. Develop metrics and track the progress of the group's strategy. Develop "game-changing" insights that lead to differential growth. Ensuring accountability and follow-through of action items among operators.
Growth Strategy
Play point on all growth-related initiatives, including DeNovo identification and approvals, clinic utilization management, and supporting insurance growth. Partner with Division Vice Presidents to develop annual strategy. Act as a strategic thought partner with GVP and divisional teams to evaluate opportunities.
Special Projects
Drive the strategic process on internal consulting projects within the Group and other business units. Opportunity to get involved in growth projects outside of core DaVita Kidney Care, e.g. Integrated Kidney Care (new value based care business). Responsible for developing the hypothesis and analysis framework. Drive the work of multi-disciplinary teams. Lead the presentation and recommendation of action steps.
Executive Communications
Prepare executive-level presentations to share with leadership including CEO and COO. Responsible for synthesizing numerous sources of data and key analysis and translating into specific actions.
