CGP : Temp Payroll Specialist

Our client in Downtown Los Angeles has an immediate need for a Temporary Payroll Specialist. Duration of engagement is six to eight months, full time hours Monday thru Friday. Hybrid role. Pay $32-35 / hour.

Responsibilities :

• Full cycle bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll processes for 500+ employees
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, bonuses, taxes, and other deductions
• Oversee time and attendance to ensure proper recording and reporting of hours worked
• Process wages for employee terminations, including processing manual checks
• Assist with internal and external payroll audits
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
