We are seeking a Lead Data Analyst / Business Analyst to join our team. This role will involve leading end-to-end data analysis initiatives driving requirement gathering building SQL-based data solutions and supporting data quality and modeling efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in GCP BigQuery SQL data modeling and a passion for solving complex business problems through data-driven insights.

Job Description

The Lead Data Analyst / Business Analyst will play a critical role in designing and delivering data-driven solutions across cloud-based environments. As a Lead Data Analyst / Business Analyst you will work closely with business and technology teams to translate requirements into robust SQL and GCP-based solutions. This Lead Data Analyst / Business Analyst will be responsible for ensuring high-quality data delivery building data models aligned to medallion architecture and implementing data quality frameworks. The role also requires the Lead Data Analyst / Business Analyst to oversee test data assets validate data transformations and ensure end-to-end data accuracy across the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Lead requirement gathering sessions and translate complex business needs into SQL-based technical data solutions.

Develop advanced SQL pipelines for data transformations and business reporting.

Utilize Google Cloud Platform services including BigQuery and preferably Dataform to support data processing and analytics.

Build and optimize data models preferably aligned with medallion architecture principles.

Define implement and monitor data quality rules to ensure data consistency across systems.

Manage and validate test data assets across multiple data environments.

Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable data flows using Cloud Composer or Dataflow.

Communicate findings insights and project updates effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Provide documentation for requirements workflows and data processes.

Ensure all data solutions adhere to compliance security and performance standards.

Required Skills

8 12 years of experience as a Lead Data Analyst and / or Business Analyst.

Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) -BigQuery required; Dataform preferred.

Advanced SQL expertise for complex transformation logic.

Moderate to advanced experience in data modeling (preferably medallion architecture).

Strong background in documenting requirements and building technical solutions.

Experience implementing data quality strategies and rules.

Working knowledge of Python Cloud Composer or Cloud Dataflow.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
