JOB SUMMARY

Development Representatives are responsible for supporting the sales team by prospecting and generating qualified sales leads.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1.       Generate qualified leads by providing product information to customers in a timely and professional manner via phone, email and video conferencing, driving pipeline and growing the MPI customer base.

2.       Collaborate with Territory Executives and sales team management to drive and implement national strategies.

3.       Support national sales goals by accurately identifying key decision makers.

4.       Follow call flow / budgeting guideline based upon system performance, budget cycles and fiscal planning provided by management.

5.       Update CRM with required data including : customers are currently using, services offered, account Health System relationships and management hierarchy

6.       Update key account fields for contacted accounts, including site information, GPO affiliation, fiscal months, planning timelines and health system structure.

7.       Collect and document end-user feedback and possible design solutions via CRM.

8.       Consistently review and understand performance metric dashboards with management

9.       Achieve proficient baseline knowledge of all trained product lines, recognizing opportunity and need within sales process

11.   Present a professional image to customers and co-workers.

12.   Perform special projects as required.

13.   Be present in the office during required times.

14.   Create a positive and support work environment.

15.   Understands and adheres to Quality & Compliance policies and procedures.

16.   Follows safety procedures and maintains a clean and safe work environment.

17.   Utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment where / when necessary.

18.   Contributes to a respectful, non-hostile, non-violent work environment.

19.   Understands the purpose, value, and impact work has on product customers and users.

Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE

  • Business or Healthcare degree and / or applicable experience preferred
  • Proficiency in computer data entry and common office equipment preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Performs work in primarily an office environment using computer, telephone, and general office equipment.
  • Position may include prolonged periods of standing or sitting, and occasional bending and twisting.
  • Position requires ability to perform keyboarding and prolonged periods of computer screen time.
  • Requires ability to speak clearly; vision sufficient for reading documents, and hearing acuity to communicate effectively.
