Certifications : Strong OSHA (certification a must), ASP or CSP (certifications a plus). Our client is seeking an experienced professional to become their next Safety Manager for their manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities :
- Program Leadership : Develop and implement site-specific Health and Safety programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align objectives.
- Safety Culture Champion : Foster a safety-first mindset across the organization, leading safety committees and promoting employee engagement.
- Regulatory Compliance Expert : Provide guidance to management on compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.
- Hazard Assessment Pro : Evaluate operational hazards, recommend corrective actions, and ensure protective measures are in place.
- Training Guru : Conduct OSHA compliance training and operational hazard-specific training.
- Injury Management Leader : Support Workers' Compensation claims management, investigating incidents and recommending preventive measures.
- Manage third party security company.
