Overview
The goal of the Digital Partnership Solution Engineering team is to partner with key stakeholders in digital space, including device manufacturers, operating system providers, wallet service, including AI firms, agentic providers, startups, large issuers, digital wallets, merchants, acquirers, and payment service providers to execute Mastercard's digital strategy, while identifying new business development and revenue generating opportunities.
We aim to achieve this goal of defining new payment experiences through direct engagement with these partners, and by packaging solutions that leverage Mastercard's assets, like Digital, Loyalty, Advisors, Security, Acceptance, and Processing solutions.

We are looking for Engineers to join our Solutions Engineering Team, who can help build compelling and scalable Agentic Commerce solutions with Mastercard's flagship agentic commerce product, Mastercard Agent Pay. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and excited by the challenge of balancing the needs of many diverse stakeholders.
Role
The Director, Product Architect, Agentic Commerce will be focused on defining Mastercard's strategy to enable access to digital credentials wherever consumers engage with the world using agentic AI. This individual will drive components of Mastercard's agentic commerce product suite from concept to market launch and scale across global markets by working with Digital Partners

As a technical leader in the Acceptance Innovation & Solution Engineering organization, you will collaborate closely with product owners, technology teams, partners, and clients to define solution architectures, lead proof-of-concepts, and translate product vision into technical execution. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in digital payments, API-first solution development, and identity / authentication frameworks - with a proven ability to build bridges between business strategy and technical delivery.
You will play a critical role in shaping Mastercard's leadership in AI-driven commerce by enabling seamless, interoperable, and secure agent interactions aligned with our network principles and global platform strategy.
Total Base Pay Range

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
