Hr & Payroll Coordinator
A well-established construction and engineering firm in Vista is seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR & Payroll Coordinator to support their growing administrative team. The HR & Payroll Coordinator will serve as a key support member for the HR Manager, handling onboarding, benefits coordination, and weekly payroll for both office and field employees. This role is ideal for someone who loves variety, enjoys working with people, and has a solid grasp of payroll processes.
Responsibilities :
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 150+ employees using Paylocity.
- Maintain employee personnel files and ensure compliance with all employment regulations.
- Coordinate onboarding, new hire orientations, and safety training for field employees.
- Support benefits enrollment and assist with open enrollment administration.
- Track timecards, vacation accruals, and sick leave balances.
- Serve as a point of contact for HR-related questions regarding pay, benefits, and policies.
- Assist with audits, reporting, and HR compliance tracking.
Requirements :
3+ years of HR or payroll experience, preferably in the construction or field services industry.Experience with Paylocity, ADP, or a comparable payroll system required.Knowledge of California labor laws and wage & hour compliance.Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
