job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDescription : One of our largest healthcare clients is looking for a Senior Cloud Network Architect, that will work directly for the CTO. The individual is responsible for maintaining awareness of technologies pertinent to the Medical Center Information Technology (MCIT) goals and objectives. The Architect will work collaboratively with all constituents from the MCIT community and serve a technical leadership function for the effective use of technologies to maintain world-class operations and delivery of solutions. The Architect drives the technology solution set and architectural design of the Cloud network Infrastructure Strategic Plan, as well as assists with tactical decisions. This Architect will be instrumental in helping this client with their journey to the cloud. The CTO is looking to build out the entire infrastructure platforms for AWS, AZURE and GCP. AWS will be used for Innovations, AZURE for Operations and GCP for AI / ML and research as well as data storage. This Architect will be hands on in this space to advise and build out the infrastructure in all aspects and working heavily with all networking teams and especially the Security team and CISO to make sure all is secure. This person will work with all Hyperscalers and design out this most productive environment. Must be very well versed in all on prem and cloud environments. Experience with Data centers, HPC, and true network infrastructures. Below is areas that his person should have experience with : Experience to design, deploy and configure network resources like – virtual networks, subnets, security groups, load balancer, VPN gateway in AWS / Azure / GCP Experience to Integrate cloud based networking services (DNS, CDN…) Experience with Network security Controls and compliance Experience with Internet Gateway, NAT Gateway / Instance, Network ACL, VPC flow logs, VPC Peering, VPC endpoints, Site to Site VPN / Direct Connect. Ability to detect network and security anomalies. Ability to write Infrastructure as a code to manage network resources using Teraform or cloudFormation Setup Azure Conditional Access Policy Experience setup Control Tower / Landing Zone Someone that has designed a network segmentation in the Cloud, at AWS Azure or Google, for over 100 accounts. This person must be a very well rounded and polished individual in the Enterprise network and computing arena. Will have to have the ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with upper executive management. Must also be able to be self directed.
