The Role :
- The Manager, EH&S Strategy and Programs will lead the development and execution of environmental, health and safety strategies that directly support organizational goals and drive ownership of critical safety programs
- Own and deliver high-impact, enterprise-wide safety initiatives that align with long-term business objectives and elevate EH&S performance.
- Champion change management by guiding field and operations leaders through the implementation of key EH&S programs, acting as a proactive change agent.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with BU Operations and other teams to design and deploy EH&S-focused operational solutions and strategic priorities.
- Integrate customer feedback to continuously improve EH&S programs and execution effectiveness.
- Manage diverse projects such as launching new safety programs, enhancing systems and applications, improving operational efficiency, and upgrading infrastructure.
- Adapt strategies dynamically in response to evolving business needs and external factors.
- Serve as support to the EH&S Portal (Intelex), ensuring continuity and system integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Lead EH&S strategy and program ownership, including policy development, system support, and enterprise-wide initiatives. Minimum 3-5 years' experience collaborating with senior management and stakeholders in large, cross-functional teams within complex organizations.Demonstrated success managing large-scale, cross-functional projects with significant business impact.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to effectively gather and critically evaluate information.Ability to prepare clear and concise written documents that identify issues and propose resolutions.Experience in a Distribution Center environmentStrong business acumen with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new business areas and various project types.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.Proficiency in MS Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, CoPilot and Outlook.Education
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or a related discipline is preferred.Candidates with equivalent or relevant professional experience in the field may also be considered.Physical Requirements
