Quality Control Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inspector to join our team. You will be working with a leader in the joining of dissimilar materials, specializing in the manufacturing of electrical feedthroughs, opto-electronic windows, and various ceramic to metal seals, bonds, and packages. This position offers a competitive hourly rate and requires experience with small parts, particularly in the medical device field.
Responsibilities
Inspect parts per drawings and requirements to ensure conformity.
Generate non-conforming reports when parts do not meet specifications.
Use inspection tools such as helium leak detectors, calipers, and optical comparators.
Read and understand drawings.
Carry out daily and weekly tasks.
Assist in troubleshooting and sourcing experts when needed.
Maintain a safe and clean working area.
Participate in required company training.
Conduct detailed inspections of small, precision metallic and ceramic components for use in medical, defense, and industrial applications.
Essential Skills
1-2 years of quality control inspection or medical device experience with very small parts.
Proficiency in using a microscope for small parts inspection.
Ability to read and write in English.
Capability to read and interpret SOPs, blueprints, and instructions.
Experience with GD&T is highly preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in aerospace or medical device fields is beneficial.
Comfortable working in a slow process environment with niche products.
Familiarity with ITAR regulations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 / hr.
