Required Qualifications : Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.

  • Knowledge of applied television broadcast operations and / or video production (i.e. camera operation, setup, fiber care, audio / visual connectivity)
  • Knowledge of video and broadcast level equipment
  • Organized; demonstrate equipment quality assurance, care
  • Ability to perform detailed work and meet required deadlines
  • Ability to work evenings, both days of the weekend and extended hours. Manual labor.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills in working with internal and external constituents

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree with additional consideration to applicants who possess a Masters degree.
  • One year experience with broadcast engineering

  • Coordinate various aspects of broadcast operations primarily focusing on engineering, logistics and utility operations for the department’s live sports broadcasting on ESPN television and in-venue display broadcasts
  • Coordinate pre and post operations including setup and breakdown of all broadcast equipment for live sport and special events, maintaining proper operation of all video and audio equipment; inventory and access all broadcast equipment needs; address repair needs; troubleshoot equipment; other duties as assigned
