The Venue Sales Associate will be 100% responsible for achieving sales goals for all special events with a focus on weddings, and private and corporate events. The Venue Sales Associate will ensure client satisfaction through prompt, professional, and hospitable communication, event package details, and tours of Folino Estate Winery to drive sales. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment that hosts 200+ events per year.
The Venue Sales Associate needs to balance a wide variety of tasks, is quick on their feet, resourceful, and has a thirst to learn as much as possible about our company, clients, and day-to-day workload.

Duties and Responsibilities :
Event Sales :
Driving revenues in different segments with a heavy focus on social, private, corporate, and wedding business.Prospecting for new business by conducting quality outside calls, telephone solicitations utilization of the Internet, newspapers, and magazines, creating a referral network, social networking, etc.Qualifying internal leads and turning inquiries into events.Assures follow-up with clients on all business leads within a 24-hour response, following a 14-day schedule to reach the client.Booking and detailing events with accuracy.Schedule and conduct tours for potential clients.Develop and maintain relationships with all clients to meet and exceed revenue goals.Upsell to prospective clients to meet and exceed financial goalsExceeding customers' expectations with great knowledge, and genuine service.Vintner's Inn :
Driving room bookings and sales.Effectively communicates and accurately details bookings to the Vintner's Inn, Innkeeper.Upsell to prospective bookings to meet and exceed financial goals.Inputting all booking details thoroughly into a CRM system.Facilitation and Coordination :
Maintain client files in our software system and ensure deposits / payments schedules are met and recorded.Appropriately completes accurate BEOs and communicates needs with the appropriate staff members.Handle all event details including communication with client and internal staff to ensure successful execution of the event and documenting all aspects of communication from initial contact through review of the event.Team Development :
Participate in business review meetings as scheduled and report on progress through the establishment and monitoring of KPIs (key performance indicators).Participates in sales calls with other sales team members as required.Involve other sales team members with potential clients to assist in the development of the account if needed.Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that enables an effective and positive communication with guests, vendors, co-workers, and management.Administrative :
Develops pipeline tracking report and sales by areaProvides monthly reports on leads and conversion ratesProvides a quarterly competitive review of the local market : 75-mile radiusCompletes expense reports and other paperwork requirements in a timely mannerAssists in maintaining Operations Manual for events and venueKey Performance Indicators :
Hits sales targets for all event sales.
