Birdi Systems, Inc. is seeking a Chief Estimator to lead estimating for Divisions 25–28 systems (Integrated Automation, Electrical, Communications, and Electronic Safety & Security) on commercial and mission-critical projects. You’ll drive pursuit strategy, estimate development, and preconstruction handoff across delivery methods including DBB, DB, CMAR, and IPD.

This role offers the opportunity to build and mentor a high-performing team, standardize estimating processes, and partner with Operations, Engineering, and Sales to win profitable work.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop conceptual, schematic, DD, and GMP estimates; detailed takeoffs for power, lighting, BAS / BMS, AV, DAS / Wi-Fi, structured cabling, access control, video surveillance, intrusion, and mass notification.
• Lead bid / no-bid strategy, VE / alternates, and proposal narratives.
• Coordinate vendor / subcontractor quotes and scope alignment.
• Review drawings / specs, perform scope clarifications, and manage cross-discipline coordination.
• Lead estimate reviews, produce BOE, and execute preconstruction handoff.
• Hire, mentor, and develop estimators; implement QA / QC standards and maintain historical cost data.
