This position could be located where J Street has existing offices - DC, NYC, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles or San Francisco.

J Street focuses its work in three main arenas : (1) Public policy : Advocating and demonstrating support for pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-democracy policies in Congress, with the Administration and in the media; (2) US politics : Endorsing and raising money for federal candidates who share J Street's agenda; and (3) Jewish Community : Educating and raising awareness of balanced views on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the organized Jewish community, in Jewish communal institutions and in the broader public.

This position plays a pivotal role within our organization, working closely with a dynamic team to drive fundraising initiatives, steward donor relationships, engage community leaders, and expand J Street's influence across a specific region. The title, level, and payscale of the position could shift after reviewing relevant factors, including but not limited to skill sets; relevant experience; internal equity; and other business and organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Development :

• Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing donors, ensuring continued and increased support for J Street's mission.
• Identify and pursue new sources of funding through prospect research and development, fostering long-term growth and sustainability.
• Strategize and execute high-impact donor events and gatherings to both raise funds and expand J Street's network of supporters.

Physical Requirements

There are no extraordinary physical requirements for the performance of the essential functions of this position. Travel and in-person meetings with leaders and donors are associated with the role.

Compensation

This is a full-time exempt position, with occasional work outside traditional work hours on an as-needed basis. The salary is $60,000-$95,000. Per J Street's Collective Bargaining Agreement, pay and title are commensurate with experience and according to pay bands outlined in our CBA. Our comprehensive benefits package includes : unlimited personal time off, sick leave, generous parental and family paid leave (up to 12 weeks), paid time off on many federal and Jewish holidays, health and dental insurance (80% of the premium employer paid), affordable vision insurance, company-paid life insurance, a 401k program including an employer match, commuter benefits, a Flexible Spending Account and Health Savings Account.

J Street recognizes a staff bargaining unit affiliated with IFPTE Local 70, a union for non-profit workers. This position is included in J Street's bargaining unit and is covered under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
