Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to perform a variety of routine tasks including preparing, recording, verifying, analyzing, and reporting accounts payable / receivable transactions.

Responsibilities

• Pay vendor invoices and receive and post customer payments on a timely basis.
• Maintain databases, reports, and records necessary to support Accounts Payable / Receivable Team activities.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable / receivable ledger accounts, financial statements, and reports.
• Perform analysis and reconciliations of bill runs for fraud detection.
• Ensure transaction entry verification procedures are followed.
• Communicate effectively through phone, e-mail, and correspondence while maintaining a professional manner.
• Keep strict confidentiality of all financial information according to company policies and procedures.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work overtime, variable schedules, and additional hours as necessary.

Work Environment

This position is fully on-site in Simi Valley, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am 5 : 00pm with some overtime expected.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position with the potential to extend or convert based out of Simi Valley, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00 / hr.
