Role Overview
The Business Operations Associate & Event Planner is a dual-role position that ensures seamless internal operations while planning and executing impactful company events. This individual will provide administrative and logistical support to internal teams, coordinate cross-functional workflows, and lead the execution of employee engagement activities, retreats, and company-wide events. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Operational Support
Support daily administrative functions for internal operationsAssist with internal process documentation, project tracking, and workflow improvementsAct as backup support to Executive Assistants and assist with calendaring, travel, and logistics as neededCoordinate technology access logistics for new hires in partnership with People & TalentManage internal tools and platforms used for scheduling, communications, and reportingProvide excellent internal customer service to employees and leadershipAssist in identifying areas for process improvement and propose solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and promote a culture of excellenceProvide administrative support for ad hoc projectsEvent Planning & Execution
Plan, coordinate, and execute company-wide events including (4) annual regional gatherings, US annual retreat, and regional coworking daysDevelop event timelines, budgets, and vendor relationshipsCoordinate logistics such as venues, travel, meals, supplies, communications, and agendasAct as on-site or virtual point of contact during events to ensure smooth executionSolicit and analyze feedback to continuously improve event experiencesCollaboration
Maintain Slack channels, Monday boards, and other internal and client collaboration toolsFacilitate internal meetings, including : All Hands, Water Coolers, Game Nights, Lunch & Learns, Collaboration callsAdminister reward and recognition programsRequirements
Strong skills in streamlining operations, problem solving, and team buildingProven experience in managing large-scale events from initiation to completionProven ability to identify inefficiencies and drive implementation of process improvementsStrong tech experience in the following preferred : Monday, Slack, Google Workspace, Dropbox, Lastpass, Rippling, and BizintaExcellent verbal and written communication skillsClear and concise communicator. 3-5 years of experience in operations, administration, or event planning rolesBachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, requiredMicrosoft Office Suite. Advanced experience in Excel required.Experience with Monday.com, Bizinta, Rippling - preferredProfessional Attributes

Remote – Pacific Time ZoneAbility to travel at least twice a year for All-Staff Retreats & Regional MeetupsReports To : VP
Salary Range : $85,000-$115,000 per year, plus bonus (based on experience)
Position Status : Full-Time Exempt

Primary caregivers and others requiring a flexible work schedule or reduced hours are encouraged to apply; benefits may be prorated for part-time hires.
