IBMi Developer - AS400 Developer

Required Skills :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 10+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, with a focus on IBM i systems and DB2 for i.
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator, specifically with IBM i (AS / 400) and DB2 for i.
• In-depth knowledge of IBM i operating system (OS / 400), database management, and tools like IBM Navigator for i, STRSQL, etc.
• Expertise in database performance tuning, backup, recovery, and security.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database management principles.
• Experience with IBM i system hardware, memory, and storage configurations.
• Familiarity with IBM i job management, work management, and system resources.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory compliance standards related to database management.
