Provides, coordinates, teaches, and / or supervises care for a group of patients usually in the setting of the patient's home. Employs the appropriate discipline specific process to develop and implement plans of care for patients requiring in-home health and support services, under physician orders.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities :

• Ability to provide skilled evaluation, treatment & care for pediatric patients (newborns through young adults) in accordance with the State of Maryland & District of Columbia Nursing Scope of Practice.
• Understanding and ability to apply principles of teaching and learning to patients and / or caregivers with varied abilities and learning needs.
• Organized approach to work tasks, responsibilities & meets time requirements

Work Location : Carroll / Frederick / Montgomery Counties

Work Hours : 40 hours per week (8 or 10 hour shifts available)

Weekend Requirement : Yes (Rotating weekends)

Take Call : Yes

Preferred Experience and / or Skills :

• Three years (minimum) experience working in acute care facility on a pediatric unit or department; preferably in critical care or ED
• Prior experience and / or skills in administering high tech infusions such as Biologics, Immunotherapy or Chemotherapy
• Ability to care for and maintain central venous access devices (CVAD) including sterile technique when applicable, accessing ports, and removal of PICCs.
• Ability to place peripheral catheters (PIVs) in pediatric patients (newborns through young adults)
• Ability to use learn and use new technologies and computer programs quickly and effectively.

Salary Range : Minimum 36.31 / hour - Maximum 56.28 / hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
