Responsibilities
- Leads in development and implementation of facility business strategy.
- Develops and implements strategy to improve market share aligned with Tenet Healthcare's mission and core values.
- Uses data to analyze market dynamics, trends, and competition; designs strategies to meet market demand.
- Assesses market development strategy and industry trends to generate innovative ideas and improve the current business plan.
- Demonstrates financial management and analytical skills during annual business planning and forecasting.
- Advises the CEO on short- and long-term strategy development and execution.
- Leads the senior executive team in advancing the facility's strategic plans.
- Aids in service line development by evaluating and gaining consensus for new or expanded inpatient / outpatient services based on market needs.
- Collaborates with hospital / department leaders to develop strategic service lines, ensuring physician engagement and alignment with quality, service, operations, and financial goals.
- Monitors service line performance via KPIs and gathers competitive intelligence for strategic opportunities.
- Engages with physicians, community facilities, payers, providers, and employers to support strategic initiatives.
- Collaborates with Tenet facilities to develop network opportunities and service line enhancements.
- Oversees Provider Outreach programs, sets performance objectives, and coordinates with outreach partners to meet community needs.
- Ensures awareness of new initiatives among community, physicians, and care partners; addresses service issues impacting program development.
- Creates physician relationships and manpower plans aligned with service line strategies and community needs.
- Works with physician recruiters to fulfill community needs in line with service line requirements.
- Maintains visibility among the physician community and leads facility change efforts to build physician loyalty and improve patient experience.
- Analyzes data to inform decision-making and monitors variances to understand facility trends; acts to address issues with data-driven actions.
- Develops consumer engagement plans and partnerships to improve the consumer experience; executes marketing plans with measurable ROI.
- Leads efforts in consumer education about care options and participates in patient advisory and satisfaction committees.
Qualifications
Experience
Minimum of five years in Strategic Planning and Healthcare Strategy / Development; proven ability to develop complex business plans and use data to drive strategy.
Knowledge of healthcare organization, administration, laws, and standards relevant to strategy and planning.Knowledge of healthcare, strategic and financial planning.Strong financial management skills with a focus on P&L and achieving objectives.Ability to execute strategy, problem solve, and lead development of business plans and pro formas.Education and Certifications : An undergraduate degree in Business or a relevant field is required; an advanced degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or Public Health is strongly preferred.

Compensation
Pay : $164,900-$301,300 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.Possible eligibility for an Annual Incentive Plan bonus of 10%-25% and relocation / sign-on bonuses for eligible positions.Organizational policies
