job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPosition is in a combined ICU and CCU unit in a hospital setting Patient population includes pulmonary, MICU, SICU, CCU, and CTS cases Unit has 20-24 beds with a nurse to patient ratio of 1 : 2 or 1 : 1 as needed Night shift position with 12-hour shifts Every other weekend is required Floating required to PCU / CC step down unit with a 3 : 1 ratio as needed within skillset Uses Cerner EMR for charting with prior experience preferred Special procedures may include moderate sedation for endoscopy and bronchoscopy at the bedside Duties may include providing care in both ICU and CCU with cross-coverage to step down units as needed Scrub color for this unit is navy blue First-time travelers will be considered for this position Holiday coverage may be required as scheduled Active MA RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Prior ICU experience required Experience in a mixed specialty intensive care setting preferred Previous Cerner charting experience preferred COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required; medical or religious exceptions accepted No artificial nails allowed while on duty High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
