Position Summary / Job Purpose
The Senior Manager, Newbuild Strategy serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the SVP of Strategy & Commercial for Newbuild, playing a critical role in enabling the SVP to operate at peak effectiveness across a diverse portfolio of initiatives. This role drives operational excellence core initiatives, ensures cross-functional alignment, and manages strategic priorities and communications with precision and discretion.
As a force multiplier, this position streamlines decision-making, enhances team productivity, leading certain initiative and ensures the SVP’s vision is translated into actionable outcomes. We’re seeking a highly organized, self-motivated professional with exceptional communication skills, strong business acumen, and a proactive mindset to lead strategic initiatives and foster collaboration across our global team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Strategic Execution & Alignment
- Translate the SVP’s strategic vision into actionable plans and ensure alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive execution of key initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
- Monitor progress of strategic priorities and escalate risks or roadblocks proactively.
Operational Excellence
Manage the SVP’s operating rhythm, including leadership meetings, business reviews, and strategic offsites.Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and follow-ups for executive meetings and external engagements.Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives on behalf of the SVP.Communication & Influence
Serve as a liaison between the SVP and internal teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication.Draft executive-level communications, presentations, and reports for internal and external audiences.Facilitate decision-making by synthesizing complex information and presenting clear recommendations.Leadership & Culture
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the Strategy & Commercial team.Act as a sounding board and advisor to senior leaders, helping shape organizational priorities and team dynamics.Support talent development and team engagement initiatives.Governance & Confidentiality
Ensure governance processes are followed for strategic initiatives, including documentation, approvals, and reporting.Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.Performs other duties as required. Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills :
MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.7+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, or business operations, ideally within the cruise, hospitality, or travel industry.Proven experience working with senior executives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; able to synthesize data and insights into actionable strategies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing executive-level materials.High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills; able to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strategic planning tools; familiarity with financial modeling and KPIs.Spanish language proficiency is a plus.Financial Responsibilities :
Supports the SVP in managing budgets and resource allocation for strategic initiatives.Oversees financial tracking and reporting for key projects and ensure alignment with corporate goals.
