About the role
A Filling Supervisor brings a high level of responsibility and dedication to the position. You must be vigilant and perceptive while blending and operating the machinery to avoid accidents. We are also looking for a candidate who is efficient and quick, meeting daily quotas and being able to run the daily fill while overseeing the operation of the machinery for several hours at a time. In addition to operating the machinery, you will complete administrative and data entry work during and at the end of your shift in compliance with all ADHS regulations.
Responsibilities
- Track and account for all medicine, consumables, and waste in the Filling Department
- Responsible for the filling performance of assigned production tasks and plans
- Responsible for all paperwork in the filling department and its proper filing (Sample CoC's, distillate intake paperwork, etc) along with proper labeling of all medicine and waste in accordance with state requirements.
- Plan and develop S.O.Ps for the Filling Department quarterly
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly plans for production with the Operations Manager
- Must have a full understanding of all Arizona Compliance Regulations
- Completion of daily production records and submission of End of Day Shift Report
- Check Filling Departments employees' Clock in / Clock outs through the time tracking system
- Complete all administrative tasks assigned by due dates
- Prepare / inform filling department staff for the following day and if there are no production orders or prep work or other cleaning duties, assign staff to other departments where needed.
- Reporting issues when they arise - this should be done quickly to minimize any impact on the efficiency of production.
- Maintain and submit maintenance tickets for all machinery and any preventive / scheduled maintenance
- Must be trained and certified on all software and machinery used within the department
- Performs pre-shift equipment checks to ensure the proper functioning
- Sets up and adjusts machines to run according to the production schedule
- Startup, shutdown, and disassembly of the manufacturing machines as necessary
- Cooperates with management and ensures compliance with all company policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Ensures the highest quality product is produced by continually striving to improve the company and department policies in regard to the entire House of Brands, both cartridges and pre-rolls
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of all machinery in your AOR
