Schedule Day shift, 3x12 hours (06 : 45 - 19 : 15) Job Description The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Telemetry unit is responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with cardiac conditions. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care needs for patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills in cardiac telemetry and progressive care. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac patients, including assessment, planning, and intervention. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias. Administer medications and manage IV therapy. Assist with various procedures such as sheath removal and post-operative care. Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to facilitate discharge planning and interdisciplinary care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac unit (preferably Cardiac Med / Surg Tele or Step Down). Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required; NIHSS certification preferred. Experience with arterial line management and central line care is preferred.
