Century Group's growing distribution and manufacturing client, located in Carlsbad, is searching for an Accounting Manager to join their team. You will prepare and report financial statements, general accounting, sales and corporate tax. You will report to the CFO and supervise 5 associates. This role is 3 days remote and 2 days in office with great benefits. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $110,000 to $135,000 per year.
Job Description :
- Manage all accruals, reclasses, and other entries necessary to close
- Review and prepare account reconciliations with appropriate support
- Accurately prepares financial statements monthly including preparation of a flux analysis to explain variances
- Maintains integrity of accounting records and reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure sales tax filings are done in a timely manner
- Prepare other managerial reports as requested
