Montessori Lead Teacher

LEAD TEACHER

Deep Roots Montessori is seeking an experienced Montessori Lead Teacher, for the primary classroom.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a deep commitment to creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities : 1.

Providing attention and support to each child based on their needs and abilities.

2.

Interact positively with all children to support their individual learning experience.

3.

Planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum.

4.

Creating and maintaining a classroom environment that is organized, clean and functional to learning.

5.

Observing and assessing children’s progress and development; using this information for curriculum planning and instruction.

6..

Maintaining accurate and up to date records of each child’s progress and development.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Holds certification in Montessori from a recognized training center and / or has experience teaching young children in a Montessori. Must have previous experience working with 3 - 6 years old. Must have at least 1 year experience as a Lead Montessori teacher.

Provides proper references from past employers.

Fulfill all requirements of State and local Licensing agencies.

CPR and first aid certification
