Sr. Web Developer

Primarily responsible for the coding of the internet-based products that support the dissemination and tracking of content to the desired audience. Leverages modern technologies to provide maximum exposure across a spectrum of end user devices. Supports publishing operations as required.

Roles :

Web applications are primarily written in Ruby on Rails on Linux and deployed in AWS using MySQL

Participates in the design and development of web applications, services, or technologies

Works within a team environment using Confluence, Jira, and Slack to manage, assign and collaborate on work tasks

Develops modern web interfaces using JavaScript and associated technologies

Reviews projects’ ability to deliver robust and scalable solutions, learning and incorporating new technologies as appropriate

Participates in Agile project management methodologies to support all aspects of the software development lifecycle ( SDLC )

Skills :

Experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, JavaScript) and open-source technologies (Linux, Django)

Knowledge of web application framework development, user interface development, and database technologies

Qualifications :

EDUCATION : BA / BS or equivalent in Computer Science or related fields

EXPERIENCE : 5+ years of experience

CLEARANCE : Current DoD SECRET clearance

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
