The Senior Capture Manager will serve as the Capture lead within KBRs business development organization. Customers include a broad selection of United States Air Force organizations . The Senior Capture Manager will be responsible for winning new business across the KBR Air Force Programs portfolio to include the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Air Force Sustainment Center Air Force Research Laboratory Air Force Institute of Technology and other USAF Major Commands. You will lead large prime full and open opportunities and lead top pursuits across KBR.
Key Responsibilities :
Capture ownership of assigned opportunities in support of KBRs growth mission and visionResponsible for the management and execution of the full BD life-cycle process across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposalsRoutinely be assigned 2-3 large ($150M) solicitation pursuits at various stages of the capture lifecycle primarily in USAF marketConceptualize a winning strategy develop a capture plan that implements the strategy and translates into win themes adjusts the strategy as the procurement unfolds and drive the capture activities and team (internal and external) to achieve the strategy through final proposal submissionPlan lead execute capture activities to include :Participate in developing a healthy pipeline of new opportunities
Qualify and assess the win-ability of new opportunitiesDevelop a plan for securing knowledge and understanding of the customers requirements challenges issues and needs during the capture phase and lead solutioning / planning sessions with the capture teamCoordinate meetings with customers competitors clients and teammates to develop market insight on requirements acquisition strategy acquisition timing and contract vehicle choicesLead milestone / gate reviews black hat sessions solution sessions blue teams and support proposal reviewsLead competitive assessments teaming and price-to-win effortsLead the development and submission of white papers RFI responses and other proposal artifacts as assignedApply KBR capture management best practices to each pursuit including creating and disseminating capture artifactscall reports B&P budgets win plans solution documentation key strengths statementsBrief capture status to senior management at specified milestones in the capture process when material changes occur and as requestedCreating winning solutionsWinning large new business programsWork Environment :

Security clearance requirements : Active TS (SCI eligible)Bachelors Degree and a total of 15 years of experience that includes 6 years of industry experience and 6 years of experience in business developmentStrong network of USAF clients especially AFLCMC Hanscom AFB is required.Experience winning new business single award contracts valued over $150MBachelors degree equivalent related experience will be accepted in lieu of degreeMust have a demonstrable history of winning large prime single award non-IDIQ contractsDemonstrated ability to work with senior business and government leaders and to provide leadership within the workplaceWorking knowledge and experience with USAF acquisition organizationsProven success in the following discipline(s) : Business development capture management program management science and engineering programs civil space programs acquisition processes opportunity identification and qualificationDemonstrated leadership skills in services-centric organizations to develop organize and execute significant capture activities including building industry teams assessing win probability and executing customer call plans to shape acquisitionsPreferred Qualifications :
