Construction Inspector

Armand Corporation, an award-winning M / WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 34 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time Construction  Inspector   to join our construction management team.  The ideal candidate has at least 3- 5  years of experience  with the construction and inspection of various site construction projects across the New York Metropolitan area; including but not limited to architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing elements etc..

This position will begin full-time, On-site, in New York City.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Perform inspections on construction work to ensure compliance with building standards and project specifications.
• Read and perform inspections on contract drawings and plans to Identify any potential violations, including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing elements; Review all materials upon arrival at the job site to ensure compliance, including assessing the quality of materials used through testing.
• Document inspections and maintain logs of work performed, reporting any issues discovered.
• Perform additional responsibilities as necessary.
