We are seeking a highly motivated Production Lead ready to make a positive impact on our Production team!
The Production Lead is responsible for effectively leading the production functions and the production staff. In addition, the Production Lead must oversee as well as perform the following duties :
Role & Responsibilities :
- Work closely with the Production Supervisor, Supply Chain Scheduler, Warehouse, and other departments as needed.
- Conduct daily cycle counts of inventoried materials.
- Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of production practices.
- Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
- Resolves routine equipment issues.
- Oversee the repair and routine maintenance of all production equipment
- Perform quality inspections and monitor production performance.
- Train, develop, and lead staff.
- Coordinate operators work assignments.
- Ensure that daily production schedules are met, and backlog is effectively managed.
- Work closely with warehouse team on order fulfillment.
- Assist in assessing staffing capacity, OT needs and resource requirements.
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
- Work closely with QC / Compliance to ensure and maintain the highest level of quality and safety.
- Ensure all operational responsibilities are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
- Drive LEAN and other continuous improvement projects.
- Get direction from Production Supervisor on special work assignments.
- Ensure machines are utilized according to job order and optimization.
- Must be able to operate all slitter machines upon request.
- Oversee proper labeling, bagging, and palletizing of the finished rolls.
- Assist with maintaining a safe and organized work area.
- Any other tasks deemed necessary and appropriate by Supervisor.
- Support and uphold the Nobelus Product Safety Program by following procedures and maintaining a clean, safe work environment to ensure product integrity and customer safety.
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 1 : 00pm - 10 : 30pm (Must be available for OT as needed)
Pay : $23-$27 / hour Plus shift differential (Based on experience)

Requirements
High School Diploma or GED3+ years of related experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSkills & Competencies :
