Senior Accountant – Capital Project
Location : Austin, TX
Compensation : Based on experience
We’re partnering with a high-growth company in Austin to add a Senior Accountant to their team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with a background in property accounting, capital projects, and forecasting, who’s ready to take ownership in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do :
Own accounting for large capital projects, including project tracking, asset capitalization, and WIP reconciliation
Manage property and fixed asset accounting across multiple locations and business units
Collaborate with FP&A to support accurate forecasting, budgeting, and project spend tracking
Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly reporting packages
Support audit requests and internal control processes
Partner cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and project management teams
What We’re Looking For :
3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong foundation in capital project or property accounting
Experience with WIP, project-based accounting, and forecasting
Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
CPA licensed or eligible strongly preferred
Background in Big Four or public accounting is a plus

Pay Details : $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
