Family Medicine physician employment in California : Locum Tenens Family Medicine PhysicianLocation : Fountain Valley, CaliforniaFacility : Outpatient Primary Care ClinicStart Date : December 1, 2025Contract Length : 13+ weeks (possible extension to 36 months or locums-to-perm)Schedule : MondayFriday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM (Patients seen 8 : 004 : 30, 8-hour workday with lunch break) Clinical Details

Setting : Outpatient only no call

Average Patients / Day : 1820

Patient Population : All ages (must be comfortable seeing all age groups)

Procedures (Preferred, not required) : Common outpatient IM procedures biopsies, sutures, etc.

Support Staff : Yes MAs, practice manager, front office, etc. (No supervision required)

EMR : Epic (must be experienced) Requirements

Experience :

Minimum 2 years of outpatient primary care

Epic EMR experience required

Licensure & Certifications :

Active CA medical license Required

DEA certificate Required

BLS or ACLS Required

Board Certification : Preferred, but not required
