Job Description

The Medical Technologist is responsible for performing and analyzing the results of the complex scientific tests.

Essential Functions

• Analyzer Maintenance
• Preparing and running calibrations and QCs on analyzers
• Monitoring quality control measures and protocols
• Running patient samples (serum, whole blood, urine)
• Reviewing and reporting of results
• Maintaining laboratory logs

Qualifications, Knowledge and Competencies

Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Certification by ASCP, AMT, or AAB, Medical Technologist License (or Medical Laboratory Technician) in State of Florida and laboratory experience.

Knowledge : Beckman AU700, Beckman DxH560, Beckman Access 2

Competencies : Technical Capacity, Decision Making, Problem Solving / Analysis, Results Driven, Pipetting

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time position with potential to turn into full-time as we grow. Days of work are : Saturday from 9 : 00 am-5 : 30pm and one day during the week (Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday)
