Overview :

We are seeking a Unified Communications Technician III to join an IT Department team. This senior-level role is responsible for leading the deployment, expansion, and management of fiber optic and network systems that power enterprise-wide communications. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled technician who can take on complex projects, resolve advanced technical issues, and provide mentorship to junior team members while ensuring the security and reliability of communications infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead planning, execution, and oversight of fiber-optic installations, upgrades, and repairs
• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on telecom, network, and wireless systems
• Maintain telecom equipment, inventory, tools, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
• Create and maintain accurate technical documentation and reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support communications initiatives
• Mentor junior technicians and foster a culture of teamwork and knowledge sharing
• Drive adherence to safety standards and best practices in all technical operations
