Job Title : Mechanical Engineer 5

Location : Overland Park, KS (Hybrid)

Job Summary :

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer 5 specializing in HVAC and plumbing systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects across a variety of building types, ensuring the highest standards of design and sustainability. The successful candidate will join our client's team of dedicated professionals committed to excellence and innovation in engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop HVAC and plumbing systems for diverse building types.
  • Collaborate on design and construction activities for various facilities.
  • Conduct engineering studies, energy audits, and code compliance reviews.
  • Implement sustainable design strategies and LEED applications.
  • Review technical submittals and bids for project accuracy.
  • Utilize Revit 3D modeling and other software for project execution.

    • Skills Required :

  • 8+ years of experience in HVAC and plumbing design.
  • Proficient in engineering design principles and relevant standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with large-scale water-cooled chillers is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam Revu.
  • Knowledge of ICC, ASHRAE, ASPE, SMACNA, and NFPA standards.

    • Education :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
