About the Role
As a Control Panel Builder, you'll assemble and wire industrial control panels according to engineering specifications. You'll work with hand tools, power tools, wiring schematics, and mechanical drawings to produce high-quality panels that power automation systems in industries across Utah and beyond.
Location : West Jordan, UT
Shift : Monday-Thursday
Days : 6 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM
Swings : 3 : 30 PM - 2 : 00 AM
Pay : $20.00-$25.00 per hour DOE + $3.00 / hr shift differential for swings
Responsibilities :
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructionsCut, strip, crimp, and route wire (26 AWG ? 12 AWG) accuratelyAssemble and wire electrical components including relays, switches, breakers, etc.Use hand and power tools to fasten components and modify panel enclosuresLay out device mounting on back panelsPerform rework and corrections based on QC feedbackAssist in quality testing to ensure panels meet all engineering and functional specsWorking hours : 6 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills :
Familiarity with industrial automation systems and electrical componentsExperience assembling or wiring panels, control boxes, or similar equipmentBasic mechanical knowledge and ability to follow diagrams preciselyComfortable using hand tools, torque drivers, wire crimpers, and other shop toolsAny HVAC, shop, or general manufacturing background is a plusEducation : Trade

Qualifications :
Strong electrical knowledge and experience working with electrical componentsHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong attention to detail and quality standardsAbility to read and follow technical documents (bonus if you can read schematics!)Must be at least 18 years oldAble to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checkPhysical Requirements
