Our client, a prestigious hedge fund in New York, NY is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to play an integral part in the payroll operations with a focus on multi-state taxation.

Responsibilities :

• Process payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Understand the relationship between the state of employment and residency, addressing multi-state taxation issues.
• Handle global mobility tasks including tax compliance and expatriate payroll matters.
• Conduct research on tax notices and compliance issues, providing timely resolutions.
• Utilize ADP tools to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.
• Analyze large data sets in Excel, implementing appropriate controls and formatting for reporting.
