About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to oversee a 30+ bed unit with a team of approximately 40 FTEs, including 2 direct leaders. The ideal candidate for this CNO position is an experienced Acute Care Manager or Director in a hospital setting, ready to take the next step in their career. The CNO will be responsible for the overall management of the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
The successful candidate must have an active RN license in the state of Missouri, a BSN degree, and a minimum of 3 years' of supervisory or leadership experience in an inpatient bed unit. Experience in a higher acuity setting is a plus. The role requires a strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to mentor and develop staff, and a commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. The CNO will also be involved in strategic planning, budgeting, and quality improvement initiatives, and must be adept at problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
