Medical Assistant

As a Medical Assistant, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional health care to ambulatory care patients. You will provide direct patient care in an office setting under the guidance of a provider, while supporting the mission and values of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the office setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality healthcare delivery.
• Assist in the scheduling of appointments and triage of patients.
• Perform tasks associated with medical assisting, such as taking vitals and managing patient records.
• Utilize EPIC EMR systems effectively for patient documentation.

Work Environment

Join a family-oriented, collaborative environment with a team currently consisting of 2 full-time providers, expanding to 8 providers by the first week of October. The team handles over 100 patients per day. The current team includes 5 medical assistants, with a goal to expand to 7. The environment is supportive and requires adaptability and prioritization skills, with opportunities for indirect work such as managing inbaskets and documentation.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Apex, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00 / hr.
