Commercial Product Fabricator - Louver / Punch Press

Scope of Position :

Perform a variety of duties to set up and operate sheet metal fabrication equipment to perform stamping and forming operations on a variety of aluminum and steel gauges following standard practices and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Sets up, maintains and operates various sheet metal fabricating machinery, including but not limited to a Punch Press and Louver
• Performs various production duties from Work Orders, Part Prints, Standard Set- up Procedures, Quality and OJT manuals.
• Utilizes and maintains calipers, rules, combination square, protractor, vernier, feeder gauges, hand tools, wrenches, micrometers, hex keys and other similar tools.
• Inspect and prepare supplied products, reports defects / problems to supervision.
• Removes and inspects finished products for compliance to specifications, reports defects to supervision and makes machine adjustments as directed.
• Uses lift and / or platform trucks to move supplied and finished products to various plant locations.
• Maintains required production, safety and other records and data.
• Inspects and reports defective and unsafe machinery / parts to supervision.
• Wears and maintains safety equipment and obeys safety rules, practices and procedures.
• Maintains work area in a neat, orderly and safe manner.
• Performs other similar or related duties as required or requested.
