Job Description :

Under the direction of the Principal Investigator(s) and Project Director, the Behavioral Health Research Assistant will be responsible for administering a manualized intervention to study participants enrolled in several behavioral HIV prevention and substance-use treatment intervention trials within the Department of Epidemiology. Study participants mainly include individuals from marginalized or disenfranchised groups who are at heightened risk for HIV transmission or acquisition, sexual and gender minorities, people who use drugs, men who engage in transactional sex with other men, and those with behavioral health problems, such as depression.

Education

• Preferred : BA in psychology, mental health, or behavioral science aspects of public health (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
• Preferred : Training in CBT, behavioral activation, and / or motivational interviewing.

This is a fixed term position with a current end date of 11 / 30 / 2026, which may be extended based upon available funding.
