Job Description :
The Front Office Specialist will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing check-in and check-out processes, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a hands-on role within a high-volume clinical setting that values teamwork, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet and check in patients, verify demographic and insurance information, and collect co-pays or balances due.
- Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling for multiple providers.
- Process patient check-out, ensuring follow-up appointments and documentation are completed accurately.
- Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
- Assist with insurance verification and coordinate with billing staff as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and clinic procedures.
- Support a fast-paced front desk that handles 85–120 patients per day.
Qualifications :
2+ years of front office experience in a medical or clinical setting.Strong multitasking skills and ability to stay organized in a high-volume environment.Professional, friendly, and patient-oriented demeanor.Additional Details :
