Job Description and Responsibilities

• The position will report directly to the General Counsel, but will work very closely with all legal team members, internal clients, and the senior management
• Partner with and advise business teams in the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of a broad range of commercial agreements, including revenue share, advertising, terms of service, and other contracts relating to the business
• This position will provide guidance in a wide range of legal practice areas, including product compliance, data privacy and security, employment, and litigation
• Support product development; provide guidance on legal requirements while providing pragmatic approaches to execute on the business
• Support product launches, including creation of privacy and terms of use policies
• This role will partner and collaborate with various business and product groups to enable the business while minimizing legal risks
• An integral member of the legal team, sharing best practices that leverage industry knowledge and legal experience, helping develop the legal organization to meet the needs of a growing and dynamic business

The US base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Pay will vary based on a number of factors including job-related skills, level, experience, and relevant education or training. At NewsBreak, we design our overall rewards package to attract top talents. Depending on the position, the role may also be eligible for discretionary bonus and options.
