Dartmouth Health (DH) is seeking a BC / BE Urologist who will be based at both  Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC ), our academic medical center in Lebanon, NH, and  Valley Regional Hospital (VRH),  a critical access hospital in Claremont, NH, which are located in the scenic, rural Upper Valley of New Hampshire.  The successful candidate will lead our efforts to extend and build our community Urology outreach program to Valley Regional Hospital and the greater Claremont area.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, a passion for rural health care, and an affinity for collaboration with primary care providers and our community specialists. Our ultimate plan is to recruit two faculty, one with an interest in general urology and the other with specialization in Urological Reconstruction and Pelvic Surgery.  We are particularly interested in developing a robotic surgery program at Valley Regional Hospital.

Dartmouth Hitchcock has a strong commitment to medical education, and the successful candidate will be expected to be actively involved in medical student and resident education. Excellence in communication and a track record of impeccable professionalism are of paramount importance.

Academic appointments commensurate with experience will be awarded by the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Engagement in academic and didactic opportunities at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is strongly encouraged.
