What you’ll do as a Technician Fiber Installation Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet, and telephone based on guidelines Install, setup and configure all equipment Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement Educate the customer regarding product and service usage Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call / afterhours responsibilities as needed Perform work in all weather conditions Other duties as assigned What you’ll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company without sponsorship High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record Telecom experience (Fiber Optics preferable) Ladder experience Physical abilities & exposures Routinely : work at heights, in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, work with arms above shoulder level, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift greater than 55 pounds Occasionally : use ladder, keyboard and mouse Why work with us Your career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
