JOB TITLE : Administrative Assistant

JOB SUMMARY :
- Responsible for welcoming all internal and external visitors to our offices. Oversee visitor assignments for visiting employees as needed.
- Oversee daily conference room management, including conference room reservations and daily inspections. All rooms should be in ready-to-use condition.
- Clean and restock kitchen / coffee / beverages / snacks as needed throughout the day. Inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Office Supplies / Equipment - Maintain office supply inventory and restock as needed. Keep copy / supply area organized on a daily basis. Monthly inspection of emergency supplies and equipment.
- Daily processing incoming and outgoing mail and accountable packages.
- Partner with HR to schedule interviews, assist in new hire activities and be a designated point of contact for new employees.
- Assist in the organization and execution of company meetings and engagement activities, including order catering, set up, and clean up.
- Support Office Manager in daily activities and assist team members with any other tasks as requested.
- Assist with design and publication of quarterly internal newsletter.
- Actively support AVEO's Sustainability efforts
- Participate in special projects as they come up based on your interests, career goals, and capacity
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE (BASIC QUALIFICATIONS) :
Bachelor's DegreeAt least 2+ year administrative / office management experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high standard of confidentiality.Demonstrated flexibility and professional maturity to readily understand priorities and anticipate needs.Must have a positive "can do" attitude, be a consummate team player, show excellent judgment as well as work well independently.Experience with calendar management, planning events, and meeting scheduling. Canva experience preferred.Must be highly proficient in Microsoft office including Word, Excel and Outlook,Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills including attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task with a willingness to perform a wide range of tasks including working with confidential information.Experience interacting with all levels of leadership.Required to work onsite in Boston Tuesday-Thursday and on additional days as requestedAbout AVEO
