Primary responsibilities will include routinely inspecting the parts coming off the machine, loading in raw material, and performing preventative maintenance tasks.
Overseeing training of new or Junior Machine Operators
Operators are encouraged to keep their workstations clean and organized.
Performing routine inspections of manufacturing equipment
Evaluating the efficiency of each unit regularly, identifying improvements as needed
Adhere to all safety regulations
Diagnose machine trouble and make minor repairs.
Other duties as assigned
KEY REQUIREMENTS :
High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
ACME experience 8+ years with set-up and repairs
Manufacturing experience a plus
Ability to read and understand prints.
Ability to use hand and bench gages to accurately interpret specific part dimensions.
Mechanical ability necessary to do limited maintenance, such as tool replacements and adjustments.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment around heavy machinery.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift items up to 50 lbs.
Maneuvers in, around, under, and about factory and / or laboratory equipment and machinery on a regular and continuous basis.
Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations, ability to lift, push or pull 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout shift
