Structures Technician (Tucson)

Job Description

As a Structures Technician, here is what youll be doing at the core, day to day.

• Perform thorough inspection of aircraft structures, identifying and documenting any signs of damage or wear.
• Comply with environmental health, safety policies, and procedures.
• Execute sheet metal repairs and modifications on various structural components, including but not limited to the wing, fuselage, and tail sections.
• Fabricate and / or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts.
• Perform minor structural repairs on composite components either attached or detached.
• Perform mechanical, electrical removals and installations as required.
• Interpret and follow aircraft maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Assist with complex structural repairs on / off aircraft.
• Utilize precision measuring tools and equipment to ensure accurate repairs and compliance with aviation regulations.
• Inspect confined areas of airframe.
• Stay current on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to aviation structural maintenance.
