Locations : Southfield and Novi Campuses | Southeast Michigan

About the Role

Henry Ford Providence Hospitals (formerly Ascension Providence), part of the Henry Ford Health Joint Venture, is seeking an experienced Program Director to lead the fully accredited OB / GYN Residency Program across its Southfield and Novi campuses.

This role offers the opportunity to oversee and enhance a thriving residency program in a dynamic environment supported by robust institutional affiliations and an engaged team of educators and clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Compliance :
  • Ensure adherence to ACGME program requirements.
  • Develop and implement policies for resident selection, evaluation, promotion, and disciplinary action.
  • Educational Oversight :
  • Supervise didactic and clinical education across training sites.
  • Approve and evaluate program faculty participation.
  • Research and Development :
  • Advance scholarly activities for faculty and trainees.
  • Organize faculty development and continuing education for OB / GYN physicians.
  • Collaboration and Quality Improvement :
  • Foster communication and alignment among private practice and employed physician groups.
  • Participate in the Henry Ford Providence Hospital GME Committee .

    • Qualifications

  • Required :
  • MD / DO, board-certified in OB / GYN .
  • Eligible for Michigan medical licensure .
  • At least 5 years experience as OB / GYN teaching faculty.
  • Demonstrated excellence in patient care, teaching, and clinical research.
  • Preferred :
  • Previous experience as a Program Director or Associate Program Director .
  • Strong track record in research, publications, and mentoring.
  • Eligibility for clinical faculty appointment.
