Head of Project Procurement (m / f / d)

Your tasks

• You will be responsible for the worldwide coordination of the project related procurement activities.
• In this role you will functionally lead the global project procurement functions and closely work with the project teams in the respective regions.
• Project procurement is the coordinating function between the respective strategic and operational procurement teams as a single point of contact into the respective project organization.
• In your role you will harmonize processes and be setting clear guidelines for a global way of working.
• Regular reporting, continuous improvement, process management and optimization will form part of your daily activities in your reporting line to the SVP Global Supply Chain.
• You will ensure that our procurement strategy is followed and implemented in projects right at the start of the proposal phase (OTO - offer to order) and will see through the adherence as the project progresses.
• This role will require regular international and overseas travel (up to %). This role will be based in one of the global Voith Hydro facilities (except Germany).
• A strong interaction with all interface functions, especially engineering, quality and project management will be a crucial enabler for the success of this role.
