About This Role

As an established Quality Engineering professional, you’ll be responsible for assuring that the manufacturing process output quality level continues to have year over year improvement of Customer Escapes (CE) PPM, First Pass Yield (FPY), SCRAP metrics.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conducts Process and internal ISO audits.
  • Daily plant manufacturing support for defect resolution, run test related failures and the management of non-conforming material.
  • Investigates and escalates supplier-related manufacturing issues working closely with Supplier Quality Engineering counterpart.
  • Lead cross functional team for improvement projects regarding product first pass yield, assembly turn backs and field claims.
  • Be involved in addressing field complaints working
  • Responsible for monthly reporting duties.
  • Observe and implement product and process quality improvements
  • Other Duties as assigned by manager

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ years of Quality or Production Engineering experience in a Manufacturing or Automotive environment
  • High School Diploma / GED and 3+ years of Quality or Production Engineering experience in a Manufacturing or Automotive environment
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Quality and / or ISO certifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-driven and proactive
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
